This article presents a model that lets a school quickly begin posing and answering data-based questions about teaching and learning. The author describes different types of data that educators can use to piece together a richer picture of their school � including student learning statistics, demographics, and school and community perceptions, and data about instructional processes � and how educators can �cross� data from different categories to ask and answer more sophisticated questions.
